Ever heard of a 1.5 million down to the tube?

Actor & comedian Eddie Griffin is the latest to run out of talent behind the wheel of a Ferrari Enzo. Griffin destroyed the million dollar supercar March 26 at Irwindale Speedway in California, where he was to participate in a charity race while promoting his new movie, Redline. The film features a car collection-which included the Enzo-of Daniel Sadek, the movie's executive producer. Video of the crash shows Griffin--clearly unfamiliar with vehicle dynamics and lacking any discernable driving skill--put his foot down and promptly understeered head-on into a concrete barrier, destroying the carbon monocoque Enzo's front end. He crashed at about 40 mph, a photographer on the scene told AutoWeek."Undercover Brother's good at karate and all the rest of that, but the brother can't drive," Griffin told the Associated Press. Griffin told CBS News that he "was coming around the track and came into a tight turn and I hit a cone and the cone got caught underneath the tire. So the tire locked up and [the car] slammed into the wall." Note that Griffin's explanation of the impact isn't exactly, er, accurate. As for Sadek? "I'm glad Eddie came out of the crash OK, but my dream car got destroyed," he commented to the AP. "I went to my trailer for about 15 minutes and I thought, there are people dying every day. A lot of worse things are happening in the world."
